The Challenge

Purchasing maternity clothing can be an important and special experience for expecting mothers. Cherish Clothing Co. is a new e-commerce business. With no other touchpoints, the OOBE (out-of-box-experience) is a crucial moment for creating brand recognition and cherished memories. How might we design the visual identity, packaging and OOBE to create the feeling of care and connection between the recipient and the brand?

The Solution

Developing a moment map for each step of the unboxing experience carefully considers opportunities to engage and connect with the recipient. In line with brand values, the neutral packaging utilizes the corrugated box color, offering cost-effective and environmental benefits. Everything from colors, patterns and printed material maintain a caring, considerate and warm feel throughout the unboxing experience.
