The Result

Binder succeeds at allowing parents, students and guardians to complete school-related tasks with ease. The new and improved portal simplifies the process of locating and submitting information through the use of good organization and structure. As a team, we took the portal through multiple iterations and user testing to ensure we solved our users’ needs. Subsequently, we learned valuable lessons in project management and collaboration.

Next Steps

If developing Binder further, focusing on usability and additional user testing would be key components to ensure a successful digital product. Placing the high fidelity prototype in front of students and parents would illuminate new insights and feedback that would help us improve the users’ experiences through additional adjustments.
